Jemma also improvises on vocals with minimalist improv group Emergence Collective, who feature a revolving line-up and a vibrant mix of non-electronic ancient and modern instruments. Performances are usually in unconventional spaces, which have included a disused cinema's fly tower (Abbeydale Picturehouse), cathedrals, a Tudor house (Bishops House), a chapel in a cemetery (The Samuel Worth Chapel) and an abandoned warehouse.
